Our mission:

We believe in the power of community and collaboration. We strive to create a network of resources and shared knowledge that enhances the well-being of all sighthounds. We support and endorse relationships with organizations and groups that practice humane and ethical treatment of their dogs. Our focus is to:

  • Provide retired racing greyhounds a path to adoption into caring homes;

  • Ensure the health and welfare of these wonderful dogs; and

  • Educate the public about this breed as pets.

Greyhound Care & Adoption of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
